My dinner yesterday from a recipe I got out of GoodFood. It was sushi rice with broccoli, beef mixed with soy sauce and sugar and a fried egg with sweet chili sauce drizzled over the top. Was quite plain but surprisingly really yummy!
Trying to decide what to bake tonight, Chocolate crackles (which are chocolate cookie/biscuit things) or Very lemon cup cakes. Help?

Just made it! Came out of the oven about quarter of an hour ago and tastes brill! yey!
Tried my hand at making Gnocchi this evening :) I think I pulled it off quite well and they tasted quite good :) You cant see them too well as I drowned them with a cheese, red onion and tuna sauce but it was good :)
This was yesterday’s colourful brunch :) I had the bread I made the other day, some left over beans, left over broccoli and a poached egg :) It’s a bit of a weird shape because I tried out using a silicone cup cake case to poach it in :)
Forgot to tell you guys about the bread I made last night!! I dont want to spend lots of money so I decided to use what I had in the house and make my own bread instead of buying some! I put way too much paprika in it so it’s very orange (IRL) but was tasty!
Sandwich for lunch using left over tuna and the bread I made last night :)
I think I’m gonna have spag boll for tea because I have turkey mince I need to use up… hmmm….. or I could have a jacket potato… that sounds good right now!
Or to bake tonight, that would be nice…… can’t exactly be wasting my money on ingredients. Bah I don’ know.

Going to wash up, make a hot chocolate and decide what to have for dinner. Meat wise I have Ham Hock, Chicken, Quorn Chicken and Quorn mince. any ideas of what to have?
So after being in the library for ages I had to run to Waitrose to buy some Puff Pastry before it closed. Got there with about 5 minutes to spare and bought my pastry and also got some Ham Hock.
I got home and started on dinner, thinly sliced a sweet potato and part boiled it. Whilst doing that, I put some cream cheese on the bottom layer of some puff pastry then layered the sweet potato on top and topped that with some ham hock, some sun dried tomato and a bit of cheese. I then placed another layer of puff pastry on top, pinching the sides to seal it all together. I then scored the top and put in the oven for 20 minutes.
It was sooooooo good!! Sundried tomatoes, ham and sweet potato taste AMAZZZING together.
I just made Cucumber Maki for the first time! I’ve made California rolls before so thought it’d be pretty straight forward, which is was, but the sheet of nori I used was too thin so only covered half the rice after it rolled it up…. it looks okay though if the rice part is facing down so yeah….. So I made that and Tamagoyaki for lunch and had cream cheese in it. I have fallen in love with this Philadelphia cream cheese…. it’s sun dried tomato and basil and it’s fuckin ammmmaazzzzingg!!
