+Emailed my tutor to try to meet up sometime this week to ask about how to get into writing in the photography feild. It’s kind of exciting that I now have some idea of what I want to do with my life.
Bed now. I feel so hungry… there is no reason at all for me to be hungry. blah.food.

Just got our timetable for this term….. Since looking at it… I’m not really looking forward to it by the looks of the projects and tutors we’re having. I just need to get into the projects as much as I can and try to have as much fun as I can. My new short course as well will be a nice break from Photography to when it gets too much!
We shall see!
I can’t actually contain how excited I am about starting this evening course in October. I want to gain as many skills and such that I can before leaving uni, I’m going into my second year but still unsure of what awaits me after graduation. Is it food or photography I want to continue? Do I want to work with magazines in the Photography area, reviews of shows and artists like my theory tutor does or carry on as an artist?
It wasn’t so much the ‘creative’ side of this course I was so interested in. Don’t get me wrong, I would love to go into writing fiction, I have no idea what sort of genre I would pick, there are so many amazing areas of novel writing! However I really wanted to gain more English writing skills, develop my vocabulary, my descriptions, developments and evaluations.
Knowing I will continue English in some way builds a sort of happiness and excitement within me. I took English Literature and Language for A Level but ended up with a C due to lower marks on my course work. I wasn’t far off of a B which was quite annoying but I’m one of those people who, if I put the work in, I’ll get the marks.
There are people out there who can do near to no work and still end up with a high mark in their work. I’m one of those people who, if I put the work in, I’ll get a high grade or mark and if I don’t put the work in, I’ll receive a lower mark. How it really should be! If I had put more work into my English A Level I would have done better, I focused more on my arts studying, I got an A in Photography and an A* in Art.
I want to work so hard in this course, as well as having a fresh, clean slate coming back to my degree with a better attitude towards projects I’m not as excited as and favouring other ones. Again, a good example of my work effort was my last few projects. I didn’t put enough effort into one project and earned a mark of52 or something like that but I put a greater amount of effort into my essay and received a mark of 82, a first.
I am so excited for this and it’s over 2 months away.
+Forgot how much I loved it. I wanted to share it again with my followers because I was so proud of myself of this project and my Merit mark :)

I’ve wanted this for sooooo long but couldn’t really afford it! And he didn’t even know this! ^.^ yeyeyeyyeyey!
tomorrow I’m off to London and I’m going to the V & A to look at Lady Hawarden’s photographs as they have over 700 images of hers there.
I told my tutor this and he was so pleased, he said that really, only level 6 students and MA students (I’m first year, level 4) went to actually look at the work they were writing about.
He got very excited and it was a real confidence boost! I can’t wait to get cracking and have a look :)
